While working at The Home Depot on their Newsprint Team I have had several roles. I joined the team as a Corporate Advertising Coordinator editing national and regional print ads in the prepress stage.  I searched for errors, then verified and made necessary corrections within Adobe InDesign. My main role in this position was to fully proofread SKU info, pricing, copy, special offers and photography. My role was to ensure accuracy and timeliness throughout the entire process. My team of fellow editors would then prepare the final ad pages for print and I would upload files to send to the printer.


Since being hired on, I have also taken on more responsibility as a graphic designer. I executed accurate national and regional print ads under tight production deadlines. I partnered daily with department coordinators to ensure accuracy of SKU content and message. I regularly conducted switchouts of merchandising to ensure that SKUs are consistent with local markets and match available products in-store and online. I maintained constant communication with the photography team that shoots our product images as well as attended weekly meetings to review ad progress with the creative directors and Newsprint supervisors.
